Liza Fortier graduated as a physiotherapist from the University of Ottawa in 2001. Having been keenly sensitive to certain patient’s limited responses to conventional physiotherapy treatment methods, she dove into the world of John Barnes Myofascial Release approach back, in 2002. With the incredible success she saw using the Myofascial Release I and II techniques, she deepened her knowledge with the Myofascial Release Cervical, Thoracic and Fascial Pelvis courses. A few years later she added Visceral Manipulation techniques learned from the Upledger and Barral Institutes. To her Myofascial Release treatments and as per her different patient’s condition needs, she may add her acquired skills of orthopedic mobilizations, MacKenzie techniques and/or acupuncture. Her passion is helping people understand the mechanism of their injuries or restrictions, in order for them to avoid movements that can impede their recovery and prevent re-injury in the future.

Lori Trautmanis is a bilingual Registered Massage Therapist, fluent in both English and French. She earned her diploma from Algonquin College in 2006. Initially trained in traditional Massage Therapy, Lori has since specialized in the Myofascial Release approach, as taught by John F. Barnes. Her practice employs a comprehensive, full-body approach to treatment, emphasizing the critical role of regular therapy in counteracting the demands of modern life, where self-care is often overlooked. She advocates for client engagement in self-care practices beyond the scope of their treatments.
Lori has further enhanced her expertise through advanced training, including multiple CranioSacral seminars with the Upledger Institute, as well as Visceral Manipulation and Neural Manipulation courses with the Barral Institute. These trainings have enhanced her practice, making client treatment feel even more intuitive. Recently, she expanded her skill set by participating in the Equine Myofascial Release seminar, applying Myofascial Release principles to equine therapy. Lori is committed to ongoing professional development, continuously seeking educational opportunities to refine and expand her therapeutic techniques.
